The area’s high altitudes, rich soil, and unique climate make it an excellent environment for producing flavorful and aromatic coffee.
The Simao region’s coffee trees are grown at elevations of around 1,200 to 1,800 meters, where cool temperatures and regular rainfall help create beans with great complexity and balance. China Simao coffee is harvested between October and December, with each cherry carefully handpicked to ensure the highest quality. The coffee is processed using the washed method, which highlights the clean and bright characteristics of the beans.
