When Small Batch Jam co was working with one of their customers on the perfect fig jam to pair with a grilled cheese sandwich for their coffee shop menu, they came up with a Turkish fig ginger jam that is to die for!!

Although these Turkish figs go through a food processor for ease in speadibility, it still retains a good amount of texture. Paired with fresh ginger to give it a little bite, this pairs great with just about any flavorful cheese. The recipe uses only Turkish figs, pure cane sugar, fresh ground ginger, a little citrus pectin for added gelling and a generous splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a little zing to the flavor in this magical combination.
